Where are you initially from, and what part of the Low country do you live in?
I am originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and I went to the Low country for work and decided to stay. I now live in North Charleston and can’t imagine living elsewhere!
What is your favorite part of working at Gentle Movers?
I love seeing all the beautiful homes, people and places our different jobs take us! I love working at Gentle Movers because I can combine exercise with a job that I enjoy.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to discover?
I have a twin brother, but what’s even more interesting is that we also have another set of twin brothers!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would love to have the ability to time travel. It would be so cool to go back and forth in time!
What’s your favorite restaurant in downtown Charleston?
There are so many good Charleston restaurants, but none I love more than Husk! It’s the perfect place to enjoy classic Southern food in downtown Charleston!
What’s your favorite neighborhood in the Charleston area?
I always love visiting and working jobs in the “I’on” neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant. The houses are all so beautiful.
What is your #1 Packing Tip?
It’s always important to be as flexible but fair and friendly as possible! We always believe that courtesy and communication solve 99% of all issues.
What best advice can you give someone who is preparing for a move?
A big move can be the best time to declutter and remove unwanted items in your home. We always suggest sorting through your closet, clearing out junk spaces, or tidying up your yard and garage! You can start with your wardrobe, junk spaces, or your yard! There are always people in need that would love any donations you could give.
