Where are you initially from, and what part of the Lowcountry do you live in?
I am originally from Kingstree but now live in Lake Moultrie. I love my new area and am so happy living closer to Charleston.
What is your favorite part of working at Gentle Movers?
I love that I get to visit different places at every job. I have seen so many places in the Charleston area that I didn’t know where they were.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to discover?
In my free time, I love to play D-league paintball. It’s an unusual but fun way to spend quality time with my friends.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower, it would be super speed. I would love to be able to get anywhere lighting fast; then, I wouldn’t have to worry about traffic!
What’s your favorite restaurant in downtown Charleston?
My current favorite restaurant downtown is Berkley’s. They have the best sandwiches for lunch, and you can never go wrong with their small plates or entrees for dinner.
What’s your favorite neighborhood in the Charleston area?
I have always loved the Park Circle area; the downtown area has grown over the years and has become one of my favorite places to go on the weekend.
What is your #1 Packing Tip?
When you start packing boxes, we always remind our clients to check that all boxes are tight and closed. This extra step will help ensure that your belongings are safe as we start moving.
What best advice can you give someone who is preparing for a move?
It’s always essential to have all entrances and hallways cleared on the day of your move. That way, we can move around the house quickly and be in and out in no time.
